CM Yogi's big gift to PAC jawans, multi -storey barracks of 200 beds made in Gorakhpur - 200 BED Multi Storey Barrack Built in Gorakhpur during Yogi Government


Gorakhpur News : The Yogi government is paying special attention to infrastructure to provide state -of -the -art facilities to the PAC (Provincial Armed Constable) soldiers. In this connection, a multi -storey barrack with a capacity of 200 beds has been prepared for the soldiers in the 26th Corps PAC campus located in Gorakhpur. It is expected to be inaugurated soon by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.

A total cost of Rs 11 crore 67 lakh was sanctioned to build an 11 -storey barrack tower in the 26th Corps PAC. Now this tower is ready. The dining hall, lobby kitchen, veranda, toilet, two lifts, two sterers have been constructed on the ground floor of the tower. The first floor of the tower is built on the dining hall, open terrace, lobby, recreation hall, toilet, lift, stereques. While four rooms have been built on each floor from the second floor to the 11th floor. Each room is of the capacity of five soldiers. Apart from this, four toilets, lifts and stereques have been constructed.

Modern system made in building

This barrack tower built by the executive body Public Works Department (Building Block) has made modern arrangements like rain water harvesting, RCC tank, septic tank, DG set for power supply and fire safety.

At present, its construction work has been completed and now preparations are being made for its inauguration. With the formation of multi -storey barrack tower, now PAC jawans will get a lot of convenience in living. Which will also improve their routine and functionality.

Multiple barracks are ready in many cities

In most PAC units across the state, the houses available for the soldiers to live were not only old and shabby, but were also insufficient in proportion to the number of soldiers. In view of this problem, multi -storey barracks have been constructed in many cities of the state in recent years. These buildings have been prepared in view of future challenges.
