Hair cut from vacuum cleaner in space! Shubhanshu Shukla became the first Indian to have a haircut in space - Shubhanshu Shukla Became First Indian to Cut Hair in Space How Hair Cut With Vacuum Cleaner in Space

Indian astronaut Shubhanshu Shukla and three of the Axiom-4 mission and 22.5 hours from Astronaut International Space Station on Tuesday afternoon settled in the sea near San Diego, where they spent 18 days. During this time, Group Captain Shubhanshu Shukla composed many records by staying away from the earth, but another unique record was named after him. Shukla has created history by becoming the first Indian to get a haircut in zero gravity.

Captain Shukla spent about 30 days in Quarantine at the Kennedy Space Center, as his flight date was postponed several times. Earlier, he was to fly to space on 29 May, which was postponed to 25 June.

Soon after Quarantine, Shukla flew directly to ISS. American astronaut Nicole Airters had their haircuts there while in space. Many astronauts living in space for a long time also get a haircut. So, this is a normal thing.

But do you know how hair is cut in space and how different is it from haircut on earth? Let’s know.

Do not fall hair in space, but swim

According to NDTV, space haircut is not much different from the haircut on the earth. The only difference is that they fly around after a haircut in space, while when we get a haircut, they fall or fall on the ground.

Therefore, a vacuum cleaner is also required along with cutting hair in space, which pulls the chopped hair inside during the cutting.

Just as bread is not allowed to carry in space, because its pieces can swim there, similarly hair needs to be handled carefully.

Does not take a bath after a space haircut

In India, especially for men, bathing after haircut is almost necessary. But at the International Space Station, astronauts cannot bathe, as there is no available water available there. Therefore, astronauts usually do dry cleaning their body with soap and wet towels.

Unlike the Earth, there is no hairstylist at the International Space Station. Only a fellow astronaut hairstyle. Therefore, they have no hairstyle.

American astronaut Nicole Airters had a haircut of Shukla in space. He has also shared several pictures of such a haircut on X account.

Astronaut Aarrs said, “We said goodbye to our AX4 friends today. I was thinking about the haircut of the previous weekend. After a long Quarter, I think it was good for them. We jokingly said that when I come back to Earth, my future may be bright in the haircut’s business, but there is still a review.”

AARS is a major in the US Air Force and has spent 122 days in space. He has done a spacewalk of about six hours in total. This will probably be the most qualified hairstylists in Shukla’s life.
