
Ayodhya Blast: of Uttar Pradesh A house collapsed after a powerful explosion occurred in Pagla Bhari village of Pura Qalandar police station area in Ayodhya on Thursday (October 9). At least five people died and many others were injured in the blast. Police Officer (Jurisdiction)CO) Shailendra Singh said that there is a possibility of many people still being buried under the debris. At present the rescue operation is going on. Singh said, “Five people have died and some have been injured in the blast. Efforts to rescue the stranded people are ongoing. The cause of the explosion is not yet clear.“
As soon as information about this incident was received, teams of police, fire department and local administration reached the spot. Rescue workers are using excavation machines to remove the debris. Whereas as a precaution the nearby houses have been evacuated.
Authorities have appealed to residents to stay away from the accident site to help in rescue operations. Senior police and administrative officials are monitoring the operation. Investigation has been started to find out the cause of the explosion. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has taken cognizance of the incident. CM has expressed deep grief over the loss of life and property.
According to an official statement, the Chief Minister has directed senior officials to reach the spot, ensure proper medical treatment for the injured and personally supervise the rescue and relief operations.
