मध्य प्रदेश के जबलपुर शहर में दो लोगों ने एक व्यापारी से कथित तौर पर 20 लाख रुपये नकद और कुछ इलेक्ट्रॉनिक सामान लूट लिया, जब वह खुदरा विक्रेताओं से पैसे इकट्ठा कर लौट रहा था, पुलिस ने रविवार को कहा।

उन्होंने बताया कि शुक्रवार को हुई घटना के 24 घंटे के भीतर पुलिस ने पांच लोगों को गिरफ्तार किया।

अतिरिक्त पुलिस महानिदेशक (जबलपुर जोन) उमेश जोगा ने कहा कि गिरफ्तारी के बाद आरोपियों ने पुलिस को बताया कि उन्होंने कर्ज चुकाने, ड्रग्स खरीदने और जल्दी पैसा कमाने के लिए यह अपराध किया है.

पीड़िता की शिकायत के आधार पर पुलिस ने जांच शुरू कर दी है। उन्होंने बताया कि घटना के 24 घंटे के भीतर पुलिस ने पांच लोगों को गिरफ्तार किया और उनके पास से 20 लाख रुपये नकद, दो मोटरसाइकिल और चार मोबाइल फोन बरामद किए.
