મકરસંક્રાતિ નજીક આવી રહી છે ત્યારે અત્યારથી જ આકાશમાં પતંગ ઉડતા નજરે પડી રહ્યા છે. પતંગની દોરીથી ઘાયલ થતાં પક્ષીઓને સમયસર સારવાર મળી રહે અને તેમને બચાવી શકાય તે માટે કચ્છમાં તા.10થી 20 જાન્યુઅારી સુધી કરૂણા અભિયાન ચલાવાશે, જેની સમીક્ષા માટે કલેકટર દિલીપ રાણાઅે સંબંધિત વિભાગોના અધિકારીઓ સાથે બેઠક કરી હતી, જેમાં થનારી કામગીરી અને વ્યવસ્થાની સમીક્ષા કરી હતી. જિલ્લામાં ઘવાયેલા પક્ષીઓની સારવાર માટે દરેક તાલુકા મથકોએ કંટ્રોલ રૂમ શરૂ કરાશે.
કંટ્રોલ રૂમના હેલ્પલાઇન નંબર વિવિધ માધ્યમથી લોકો સુધી પહોંચાડવામાં આવશે. ખાસ કરીને ચાઇનીઝ માંજાનો ઉપયોગ થતો અટકાવવા માટે વન વિભાગ તથા પોલીસ વિભાગ દ્વારા સંયુકત ટીમ બનાવી કોમ્બિંગ કરીને વેપારીઓને સમજ અપાશે તેમજ કાયેદસરની કાર્યવાહી પણ કરાશે.
પશ્ચિમ કચ્છ વન વિભાગના નાયબ વન સંરક્ષક યુવરાજસિંહ ઝાલાએ જણાવ્યું હતું કે, તાલુકા દીઠ 17 ઘાયલ પક્ષી કલેકશન સેન્ટર શરૂ કરાશે. ભુજમાં ચાર સ્થળે કલેકશન સેન્ટર રહેશે, જેમાં રામધુન, પશુ દવાખાનું – મુંદરા રોડ, ઇન્દ્રાબાઇ પાર્કની સામે, પશુ દવાખાનું – છઠ્ઠી બારી પાસે, ભચાઉમાં નોર્મલ રેન્જ, ભચાઉ-ગાંધીધામ હાઇવે, ગાંધીધામમાં ઝંડા ચોક, અંજારમાં બે સેન્ટર રહેશે જેમાં નોર્મલ રેન્જ કચેરી , વિસ્તરણ રેન્જ-સવાસર નાકા પાસે, મુન્દ્રામાં નોર્મલ રેન્જ કચેરી, માંડવીમાં વન ચેતના કેન્દ્ર, અબડાસામાં નોર્મલ રેન્જ નલિયા, નખત્રાણામાં નોર્મલ રેન્જ કચેરી, લખપતમાં નોર્મલ રેન્જ દયાપર, આડેસરમાં નોર્મલ રેન્જ આડેસર, રાપરમાં વિસ્તરણ રેન્જ કચેરી ખાતે ઘાયલ પક્ષીનું કલેકશન કરાશે.
આ વર્ષે ધોરડો-સફેદ રણ ખાતે પણ 1 કલેકશન સેન્ટર શરૂ કરાશે. 12 સારવાર કેન્દ્રોમાં ભુજમાં સુપાશ્વ જૈન સંસ્થા સંચાલિત પશુ દવાખાનું, સરકારી પશુ દવાખાનું ભુજ તેમજ મુન્દ્રા, અંજાર, ગાંધીધામ, નખત્રાણા, લખપત, માંડવી, નલિયા, ભચાઉ, રાપર તથા ભીમાસરના સરકારી પશુ દવાખાનામાં સારવાર અપાશે.
કલેકશન સેન્ટર પર વન વિભાગના સ્ટાફને ફરજ સોંપાશે. ઉપરાંત નાયબ પશુપાલન નિયામક દ્વારા તાલુકા કક્ષાએ કુલ 14 પશુ ચિકિત્સક અધિકારીઓ તથા 12 બિન સરકારી સંસ્થાઓના 215 જેટલા સ્વયંસેવક દ્વારા સેવા અપાશે. અભિયાન અંગે લોકોમાં તથા વિદ્યાર્થીઓમાં જાગૃતતા આવે તે માટે પ્રચાર માટે તંત્ર દ્વારા સાહિત્યનું વિતરણ, જાહેર સ્થળોએ બેનર લગાવવા તથા શાળા કક્ષાએ બાળકોને સમજ અપાશે. રાજયના તમામ પક્ષી સારવાર કેન્દ્રો દર્શાવતા ઓનલાઇન મેપની લીંક સ્વયં સંચાલિત વાઇલ્ડલાઇફ હેલ્પલાઇન નંબર 8320002000માં વોટસએપ મેસેજમાં “કરૂણા” મેસેજથી મળી શકશે.

New Delhi: For the second day in a row, global crude oil prices have seen a major decline, with Brent crude falling below $80. Meanwhile, retail prices of petrol and diesel issued by state-run oil companies on Thursday morning also saw a decline. Petrol and diesel prices have come down in many cities of UP today. However, even today there has been no change in oil prices in the four metros of the country like Delhi-Mumbai.
According to government oil companies, today petrol in Ahmedabad is Rs. 96.41 per litre, while diesel costs Rs. 92.15 per liter has happened. In Ghaziabad too, petrol has decreased by 32 paise to Rs 96.26 and diesel by 30 paise to Rs 89.45. In Lucknow, petrol has gone up by 24 paise to Rs 96.68, while diesel has gone up by 23 paise to Rs 89.87 per litre. In Patna today, petrol has increased by 35 paise to Rs 107.59 per liter while diesel has increased by 32 paise to Rs 96.36 per litre.
As far as crude oil is concerned, its prices have seen a major decline during the last 24 hours. The price of Brent crude fell more than $3 to $78.35 a barrel. At the same time, the price of WTI fell by $4 to $74.40 per barrel.

પાલનપુર તાલુકાના કરજોડાથી સુરજપુરા વચ્ચે મંગળવારે રાત્રે બાઇક સ્લિપ થતાં પાલનપુરના યુવકનું મોત થયું હતુ. જે તેની સાસરીમાંથી પરત આવતો હતો ત્યારે અકસ્માત સર્જાયો હતો.પાલનપુરની ઝમઝમ સોસાયટીમાં રહેતા મહંમદજુબેર ઉર્ફે મુન્નો યાસીનભાઇ શેખ તેમનું બાઇક નં. જીજે. 08. સીક્યુ. 6264 લઇને મંગળવારે સાંજે તેમની સાસરી ઇકબાલગઢ ગામે ગયા હતા.
દરમિયાન રાત્રે કરજોડાથી સુરજપુરા વચ્ચે બાઇક સ્લિપ થઇ ગયું હતુ. જેમાં મહંમદજુબેરને ગંભીર ઇજાઓ થતાં 108માં પાલનપુર સિવિલ હોસ્પિટલમાં ખસેડાયા હતા. જ્યાં ફરજ પરના તબીબે મૃત જાહેર કર્યા હતા. આ અંગે ખેરમહંમદ ડોશમહંમદ શેખે પાલનપુર તાલુકા પોલીસ મથકે ફરિયાદ નોંધાવી હતી.

કલેક્ટર રચિત રાજ વહીવટી તંત્રમાં પ્રજાને કેન્દ્રમાં રાખીને ‘જરા હટકે’ કરવા માટે જાણીતા બન્યા છે. તાજેતરમાં વિધાનસભા સામાન્ય ચૂંટણીમાં દેશભરમાં પ્રથમવાર હેલ્થ એનિમલ બૂથ અને હેલ્થ બૂથ ઉભા કર્યા હતા જેની રાષ્ટ્રીય માધ્યમો અને ઇલેક્શન કમિશન ઇન્ડિયાએ પણ નોંધ લીધી હતી. આ અંગે કલેકટર રચિત રાજે જણાવ્યું હતું કે, અરજદારો સાથે મૈત્રીપૂર્ણ વ્યવહાર, કેન્દ્ર-રાજય સરકારની જનકલ્યાણકારી યોજનાઓનો પાત્રતા ધરાવનાર એક પણ લાભાર્થી વંચિત ન રહે અને દરેક ક્ષેત્રમાં 100 ટકા લક્ષ્યાંક હાંસલ કરવાની નેમ સાથે કામ કરવામાં આવે છે.
એનિમલ હેલ્થ બૂથ, હેલ્થ બૂથ, પ્રાકૃતિક પ્લાસ્ટીક કાફેની પહેલને લોકોએ આવકારી છે. જ્યારે હ્યુમન લાઇબ્રેરી કલેક્ટર કચેરી ખાતે શરૂ કરી તેની જ કડીમાં હેપ્પીનેશ એડમીસ્ટ્રેશન જેવી પહેલ કરવામાં આવી. એક કે, બે દિકરી ધરાવનાર વાલીને સરકારી કામકાજોમાં અગ્રતા આપવા માટે પિંક કાર્ડ, વરિષ્ઠ નાગરિકને પ્રાથમિકતા મળી રહે તે માટે ગ્રે કાર્ડ આ પ્રકાર પહેલ કરનાર જૂનાગઢ દેશભરમાં પ્રથમ હતું. સેવાસેતુમાં 3.14 લાખ અરજીનો નિકાલ કરી જૂનાગઢ જિલ્લો રાજ્યમાં ટોચના સ્થાને છે.

મહેસાણા શહેરમાં માનવ આશ્રમ વિસ્તારમાં અર્બન હેલ્થ સેન્ટરની સગવડ ના હોઇ લોકોને પોલીસ હેડ ક્વાર્ટર સુધી લાંબા થવું પડી રહ્યું છે. ત્યારે આ વિસ્તારમાં અર્બન હેલ્થ સેન્ટર બનાવવા વિસનગર લીંક રોડ પર ઉમિયા ધામ ટાંકી પાસે જગ્યા નક્કી કરાઇ છે. બુધવારે સિટી મામલતદારે સ્થળ મુલાકાત કરી છે. જિલ્લા કલેક્ટરરાહે જગ્યા ફાળવણી બાદ અર્બન હેલ્થ સેન્ટર બનતાં વિસ્તારના 25 હજાર લોકોને નજીકમાં જ આરોગ્યને લગતી સુવિધા મળતી થશે.
માનવ આશ્રમ નજીક ચિરાગ પ્લાઝામાં ચારેક વર્ષ પહેલાં ભાડાના મકાનમાં અર્બન હેલ્થ સેન્ટર ચાલતું હતું. જે બાદમાં પોલીસ હેડ ક્વાર્ટરમાં શિફ્ટ કરી દેવાયું હતું. વોર્ડ નં.3ના કોર્પોરેટર દીપકભાઇ પટેલે માનવ આશ્રમ વિસ્તારમાં કાયમી અર્બન હેલ્થ સેન્ટર બનાવવા જિલ્લા કલેક્ટરને રજૂઆત કરી હતી. જેમાં ડીઆઇએલઆર મારફતે 375 મીટર જગ્યા ફાળવાઇ હતી, પરંતુ ત્યાં પાલિકાની પાણીની ટાંકી હોઇ 500 મીટર જગ્યા ફાળવવા ફરી માંગણી કરાઇ હતી. જેમાં કલેક્ટર દ્વારા વિસનગર લીંક રોડ પર ઉમિયાધામ ટાંકી પાસેની જગ્યાએ સ્થળ ચકાસણી કરી અભિપ્રાય મોકલવા મામલતદારને આદેશ કરાયો હતો.
બુધવારે સિટી મામલતદાર ભગીરથભાઇ વાળા અને નાયબ મામલતદાર મુકેશ પંચાલે કોર્પોરેટર દિપક પટેલ તેમજ નિરંજન ચાવડા, વિષ્ણુ પટેલ, દિપક ચૌધરી વગેરેની હાજરીમાં સ્થળની ચકાસણી કરી હતી અને અર્બન હેલ્થ સેન્ટર બનાવી શકાય તેમજ આવન જાવન કરી શકાય તેવી ખુલ્લી જગ્યા હોવાનું જણાયું હતું. આ અંગે મામલતદાર કચેરીના સૂત્રોએ કહ્યું કે, સીડીએચઓથી જગ્યા માટે દરખાસ્ત હોઇ જિલ્લા કલેક્ટર દ્વારા અભિપ્રાય મગાવાતાં સ્થળ ચકાસણી કરાઇ છે, જેનો અભિપ્રાય કલેક્ટર કચેરીને મોકલી અપાશે.
