The sugar commissionerate has issued notices to seven sugar mills in the state which have given less than 70 percent FRP this season. They include Nationalist leader former minister Dhananjaya Munde, BJP leader Pankaja Munde, BJP MLA from Nagar Babnarao Pachpute. Out of these seven factories, three belong to nationalists, three belong to BJP leaders and one belongs to Congress leaders.

The sugarcane season ended on June 15 in the state and record sugar production has been achieved. The state’s contribution has been significant in India becoming the leader in sugar and cane production, overtaking Brazil at the global level as well. Due to special follow-up by the sugar factory to ensure timely delivery of FRP to farmers, 97 percent FRP has been disbursed so far.
In the remaining places, an agreement has been reached between sugar mills and farmers to provide FRP money till Diwali. Factories who do not provide FRP are being prosecuted under the Revenue Recovery Certificate (RRC) Act. Notices have been served on seven factories that have given less than 70 percent FRP, said Sugar Commissioner Shekhar Gaekwad.
The State Sugar Commissionerate has issued notices to seven sugar factories in the state as per RCC. This factory giving less than 70 percent FRP has a total of Rs. 14503.59 Lakh RCC amount is outstanding. Mainly the sugar factories of political leaders are seen to be in trouble.

Morning- RCC Amount Rs. 2591.69 lakhs (Congress MLA Sangram Thopete).
