In Jamnagar, the state GST team recently conducted mass raids on transport and industrialists in the city. In the strict checking procedure done in four generations of Udyognagar, the team investigated the case of wrong tax branch. In which two businessmen were arrested and presented in the Chief Court regarding the wrong branch of getting tax branch worth Rs 32.58 crore. The court granted 8 days remand.

This action was taken to expose tax evasion
Two Ughogapatis of Jamnagar have been arrested in the GST evasion case. The state GST enforcement department has created a stir by conducting night-time interrogations. The state GST department recently raided 10 different firms for tax evasion through bogus billing. In the investigation of which this action has been taken to reveal tax evasion.

The State GST Department has launched a special campaign to prevent tax evasion through bogus billing. Under which a team of state GST department officials conducted mass raids in Jamnagar’s Shanti Metal, DR Trading, Active Metal Pvt. .

After verification, recovery operations were carried out
These raids were done on the grounds of tax evasion by making bogus billing, obtaining false tax credits against payable GST and not depositing proportionate tax in the government treasury. The operation of this raid lasted for more than a week. In which the recovery operation has been carried out by verifying the amount of tax that has been taken through bogus billing. As part of this operation, the State GST Enforcement Department arrested Shanti Metal’s Rishabh Pambhar and Active Metal’s Varun Bansal on Thursday night.
