Farmers started sowing as soon as the rains started in Patan district. There is a feeling of joy among the farmers due to meghmehar and universal rain in the district. 98325 hectares have been planted in Patan district. Agricultural crops have benefited from universal rainfall in the district. Due to universal rains, the sown seeds have sprouted in the field.

A lot of Kharif crops were planted
Kharif crops have been planted in Patan district. Significant cultivation of paddy, millet, tuwer, mung bean, matha, ada, groundnut, sesame, diwela, irrigated cotton, guar, vegetables, and fodder has been done in all the talukas of the district. 21125 hectares have been planted in Sami taluka, the highest in the district. Thus a total of 98325 hectares have been planted.

How much planting in which taluk?
Talking about the planting done in all the talukas of Patan district, 7717 hectares have been planted in Chansma taluka, 6090 hectares in Harij, 11010 hectares in Patan. In this regard, 10351 hectares of cultivation has been registered in Radhanpur. In Sami taluka, the maximum 21125 hectares have been planted, then in Santalpur 15910, Saraswati 7222, Shankeshwar 16070 and Siddhapur 3830 hectares have been planted, happiness has spread among the farmers.
Most fodder was planted
Farmers have planted the most fodder in 39744 hectares in Patan district. Because of this, there is no shortage of fodder for animal husbandry throughout the year. While cotton has also been planted in 35116 hectares. Apart from this, pulses have also been planted in 13584 hectares in the district. Due to universal rains the seeds have germinated due to timely planting. The farmers hope that the rains will be good and as the cultivation of the kharif season will improve, the farmers will get a good income in the kharif season. Vaibhavsinh Thakor, a farmer of Balisana village, says with joy that there has been good rain this year. I am hopeful of getting a good crop in 7 to 8 Bigha plantation now.
