In Rohtas, Additional Chief Secretary, Excise KK Pathak was on a visit to Rohtas district on Friday. An important review meeting was held by him in the DRDA auditorium regarding prohibition of alcohol. In which DM Dharmendra Kumar, SP Ashish Bharti, DDC Shekhar Anand and other officers were present.
In the review meeting, the Additional Chief Secretary made a detailed review of the actions being taken by the Excise Department and the Police Department, such as arrests, drinkers as well as the supply chain, ie, illegal country liquor manufacturing and foreign liquor supplier groups and Many important instructions were also given.
He said that the number of raids should be increased by women product constables. Training of women product constables should be given in Dehri so that they can successfully carry out raids. He praised the recent raiding campaign against liquor by the women’s force in Rohtas district.

In the light of the instructions mentioned by DM Dharmendra Kumar, the magistrate at the sub-divisional level directed all SDOs/SDPOs to conduct raids in vulnerable areas weekly with the force.
