Today the school has managed to get an A+ grade after ten years. The school has become a smart school today due to the holistic approach taken by the school teachers towards improvement.

The image of the school has changed in the last ten years
While the central government has implemented a new education policy, changes are taking place in the education sector with everyone’s support and cooperation. In the year 2011-12, Gunotsav was organized by the government with the noble objective of holistic assessment in school. At this time, Jaliya’s primary school comprehensive assessment report card had a grade of D. This report card turned out to be a great opportunity for Jalia’s elementary school! After that, improvements were gradually made in the school and a positive change in school education started…! In the year 2014-15, an enthusiastic young Ashishbhai Mehta was appointed as the Principal of Jaliya Primary School and a drastic change was initiated with a holistic approach to school education. Today, the image of the school has changed in a completely positive way as the reform process is being carried out from Patangan to Smart Class in the 125 year old primary school.

The school gradually improved its quality of education
D grade to C grade in the year 2011-12 quality assessment and B grade in subsequent quality assessment. The long transformative improvement process from 2015-16 to A+ grade in the 2021-22 Knuvatsava 2.0 report card has continued and is still ongoing! What can teachers not do if they assume!? Facilities in a government school rival a private school
Today Jaliya Primary School has a smart class running with digital board, AC of around 20 computers. There is a lab. Every class of the school has a library and there is also a separate library for school children to read. There is also a 3D theater along with digital classes! The school has 10 bigha land of its own
The school has its own community hall, where various school programs are organized with a projector. Jaliya’s primary school has its own 10 bigha of land in the village boundary with a noble system of clean drinking water! In which cash crops like cotton are planted, prizes are given to the school children twice a year out of the annual income of the school farm and notebooks are also distributed! What a wonderful school! The land was handed over to the school during the Gaekwadi regime for the maintenance of the school, which today is owned by Jaliya Primary School itself. There was a time when the students of Jaliya village went abroad for primary education! The wind of reformative change blew so much that today about 20 students coming from outside are getting education in the primary school of Jaliya!

A science fair is organized in the school every year, the school teachers guide the students on innovation. Only 120 students are selected from each district under Kannada’s National Means Cum Merit Scholarship Scheme (NMMS). Only 8th grade students can take this scholarship exam. As many as 17 students of Jaliya Primary School have passed the tough scholarship exam scheme so far in the last five years! This is the merit of the teachers of the school, who have given full attention to the students of the school and imparted quality education.
Speaking to Jaliya Primary School Principal Mehta, he said that in the future, with the efforts of enthusiastic teachers, more students will progress in the field of sports from school, more students will be selected under NMMS scholarship scheme and efforts will be made to restore the trees damaged in Tau’te cyclone from the school level.
