The Central Government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi is taking special care of women and children to build a healthy India. Keeping in mind the health of women and children, various government departments are also closely implementing departmental schemes. Along with this, under the guidance of Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel, such schemes are being implemented step by step by the Gujarat government. The state government has shed light in the lives of many women through these schemes.

5000 assistance is provided to women in various stages
Under the Pradhan Mantri Matrivandana Yojana launched by the Central Government, assistance of Rs 5 (five) thousand is provided to pregnant women at various stages i.e. from the time the woman becomes aware of the pregnancy till delivery. Asha worker sisters of the village conduct a regular survey of the newly married couple in the village. A woman is enrolled as soon as her pregnancy is reported during the survey. 5000 assistance is then given to women under this scheme in various stages. Not only this, pregnant women are called to the Anganwadi center on the first Wednesday of every month, and their blood pressure is also measured.

The assistance is credited to the bank account in phases
Here we have to talk about the beneficiary women of Karathan village of Nandod taluka. Yoginaben Dhanveer Singh Chauhan, who benefited from the Matrivandana Yojana, said that the Asha worker sister of our village gave us an understanding about the “Prime Minister’s Matrivandana Yojana”. He used to visit our house regularly. I was first enrolled as a “Matrivandana Yojana” benefit when I came to know about my pregnancy. During pregnancy we were taken special care by our Ashawarka sister. 5000 assistance available under this scheme was credited to my bank account in phases. This has helped us a lot in treating the hospital.
