26 days after the fall of the government in Maharashtra, Uddhav Thackeray has given strong statements on Eknath Shinde and BJP. In an interview to Saamana, Uddhav said that he has been betrayed. “Even if I had made him (Shinde) the chief minister, his intentions are diabolical,” Uddhav said. Rotten leaves must fall from the tree. These were the people who want to swallow their own mother (the real Shiv Sena), but a mother is a mother after all. We will make extraordinary leaders out of ordinary people.

Biggest mistake of trusting Shinde
Uddhav said trusting the Shinde faction was his biggest mistake. Uddhav asked the Shinde faction not to seek votes in the name of Balasaheb. He said these things in an interview given to Shiv Sena mouthpiece ‘Saamana’. This is Uddhav’s first interview after stepping down from the chief minister’s post.

Had the BJP accepted the demands, then this situation would not have happened.
Uddhav also attacked the BJP for forging an alliance with the Shinde faction. “If the BJP had accepted my demands in 2019, we would have had more respect for them,” he said. Trying to end unity among Hindus
Uddhav said that some people are trying to destroy the unity among Hindus. They want Shiv Sena to end so that they remain the sole brand of Hindutva. They want to separate Thackeray from Shiv Sena.
NCP never tried to suppress voice
Regarding Maha Vikas Aghadi, an alliance of Shiv Sena, Congress and NCP, Uddhav said that this alliance was done in November 2019. Had this experiment been a mistake, people would have rebelled against us, but Ajit Pawar never tried to stifle my voice.
