There was a sharp debate between Deputy Chief Minister Emperor Chaudhary and Leader of Opposition Tejashwi Yadav in Bihar Assembly, in which the Deputy Chief Minister said, “What will he speak whose father is a criminal.” The confrontation between the two leaders began when Yadav expressed concern over the alleged disturbances in the voter verification process (SIR). According to the news agency PTI, Yadav said, “The whole country saw how he resorted to hooliganism … Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Emperor Chaudhary should use civil language, otherwise the public will teach them a lesson.”

During this whole incident, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar appeared silent, but Tejashwi targeted him and said that he should be careful with BJP leaders, because people have started saying that JDU has now become a cell of BJP.

Later reacting to the uproar inside the Bihar Legislative Assembly, Deputy CM Samrat Chaudhary said, “It is clear that the works done in Bihar under the leadership of Nitish Kumar have made the opposition restless and they are ready to say anything, because they do not see development.”
