Yogi government's big decision, displaced families will get the right to land ownership - CM Yogi Government Land Rights for refugees


UP News : Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath held a high -level meeting on Tuesday (July 22). In this meeting, he was displaced from East Pakistan (present -day Bangladesh) and took a historic decision to legally provide land ownership to the families settled in the state. Along with this, CM Yogi called this decision a national responsibility and instructed the officials to take action in a timely manner in this regard. Explain that this historic decision is a big step towards social justice and respect for more than 10,000 families settled in Pilibhit, Lakhimpur Kheri, Bijnor and Rampur districts.

In the meeting, CM Yogi said that this is not only a matter of land transfer, but is an opportunity to honor the life struggle of thousands of families, who have come to UP after being displaced from East Pakistan after partition between 1960 and 1975. These families were settled in various villages and allotted agricultural land. But due to archival errors, land recorded in the name of the Forest Department, most families are deprived of landlord rights till date.

CM Yogi instructed the officials that these families should be treated sensitively and respectful. He said that it becomes the responsibility of the government, these families should be given their rights for decades.

CM Yogi instructed the officials that in the case where the land allotment was done under the Government Grant Act, new legal options should be discovered as this Act has been canceled in the Act 2018. He asked the District Magistrates to take action to improve archial errors and provide landlords in a timely manner. Along with this, CM Yogi asked to adopt sensitivity and respectable behavior with the displaced families so that their dignity remains.

CM Yogi Adityanath described this initiative as not only a rehabilitation program, but a symbol of social justice, humanity and national responsibility. He said that this effort will open the door to new hope and dignified life for neglected families for decades.

Thousands of families will start a new beginning

This decision of the Yogi government of the state will not only provide economic stability and legal rights to neglected displaced families but will also restore their social dignity. This can be a new beginning for thousands of families of Pilibhit, Lakhimpur Kheri, Bijnor and Rampur.
