Ajanta Pharma has informed that the Income Tax Department searched some of its offices and manufacturing units on August 19, 2025 under the Income Tax Act, 1961. The search is still on.
The company said that it is fully cooperating with the authorities and giving clarification and information. This will continue to provide any further explanation or information which may be necessary.
Ajanta Pharma said that the company’s business functioning continued as usual and it had no effect on the search.
The company denied the rumors going on in social media and said that the significant activity seen in the price of its shares recently in exchanges is completely due to the market.
Ajanta Pharma will follow its disclosure related obligations in this regard.
