Nidhi Dave, Vadodara: A rally of 75 vintage cars has been taken out from Vadodara to the Statue of Unity. After the return, a three-day exhibition of vintage and classic, rare and grand auto mobiles will be held from 6 to 8 January 2023.

The 10th edition of the 21 Gun Salute Concours d’Elegance, organized by the 21 Gun Salute Heritage and Cultural Trust, is a three-day motoring extravaganza from 6 to 8 January 2023 showcasing vintage and classic, rare and grand autos of yesteryear.

35 international judges

200 vintage and classic Indian marques have entered the 21 Gun Salute Concours d’Elegance 2023. 25 international cars, 120 veteran bikes and Maharaja cars are on display at the concourse.

Cars from USA, Switzerland, Belgium and France have also joined the competition. This year’s judging panel includes 35 international judges. A very grand arrangement has been made.

Around 300 cars will compete in the concourse

The ninth edition of the concourse was held at Delhi. Which has been held in Vadodara this year. All the cars coming to the concourse have been displayed for the first time. Around 300 cars will compete in the concourse.

Out of which 75 vintage cars were taken out for the Statue of Unity rally from Vadodara today. Which will return in the afternoon and will be put on display for three days from tomorrow. Citizens can observe from January 6 to January 8 from 9:30 am to 6 pm.

The oldest car dates back to 1902

1948 Bentley Mark VI Drophead coupe, 1932 Lancia Astura Pininfarina, 1930 Cadillac V-16, 1928 Gardner Rodner 1915, etc. Veteran and rare cars of the Edwardian class with the oldest car participating in the concours dating back to 1902.

The concours includes pre-war American European cars and post-war American European very rare Rolls Royce and Bentley vintage beauties, Playboy cars, Bollywood, Tollywood, Molly and many special cars.

ઉતરાયણ પર્વને ગણતરીના દિવસો બાકી રહ્યા છે પરંતુ શહેરમાં લોકોએ પતંગ ચગાવવાની શરુઆત કરી દીધા છે. જેને લઇ પતંગની કાતિલ દોરી નો શિકાર અબોલા પક્ષીઓ બનવાનું શરૂ થઈ ગયું છે. પતંગની દોરીઓ જ્યાં ત્યાં લટકતી હોય છે.અને આ દોરીઓમાં પક્ષીઓને ફસાવવાના કિસ્સાઓ સામે આવતા હોય છે.ત્યારે આવો જ એક કિસ્સો સુરતમાં સામે આવ્યો છે.

13 માળની હાઇરાઈઝ બિલ્ડીંગ વચ્ચે કબુતર ફસાયુ

સુરતના કોઝવે વિસ્તારમાં આવેલા 13 માળના હાઈરાઈઝ બિલ્ડીંગ પાસે પંતગની દોરીમાં એક કબુતર ફસાઈ ગયું હતું.બે બિલ્ડીંગ વચ્ચે પસાર થઈ રહેલા વાયરમાં પતંગની દોરી ફસાઈ હતી. પતંગની આ દોરીમાં કબુતર ફસાઈ ગયું હતું.અને તે તરફડીયા મારી રહ્યું હતું. આ બનાવની જાણ સ્થાનિકોને થઇ હતી અને તાત્કાલિક બનાવની જાણ ફાયર વિભાગને કરી હતી. જેથી ફાયર વિભાગનો કાફલો ઘટના સ્થળે દોડી આવ્યો હતો.

ભારે જહેમત બાદ કબૂતરને કરાયું રેસ્ક્યૂ

કબુતર ફસાયા હોવાની જાણ ફાયરને કરાતા ફાયર વિભાગે અહીથી ભારે જહેમત બાદ કબુતરનું રેસ્ક્યુ કરી લીધું હતું. સુરત ફાયર ટીમ દ્વારા ઉતરાયણને લઈ પક્ષી બચાવવા માટે વિશેષ તૈયારી પણ કરી છે. ફાયર નીતિ દ્વારા વિશેષ પ્રકારની દોરી માંથી પક્ષીને રેસ્ક્યુ કરવા માટેની સ્ટીક બનાવી છે. જે 8 થી 10 માળ ઉપર ફસાયેલા પક્ષીઓને પણ દોરી કાપીને રેસ્ક્યુ કરી શકાય તે પ્રકારની બનાવવામાં આવી છે. આજ સાધનનો ઉપયોગ કરીને 13 માળના હાઈરાઇઝ બિલ્ડીંગ વચ્ચે દોરીમાં ફસાયેલા અને તરફડિયા મારતા કબૂતરને બચાવવામાં આવ્યું હતું.આ ઉપરાંત નાનપુરા બહુમાળી બિલ્ડીંગની પાછળ પણ પક્ષી ફસાયું હોવાનો કોલ ફાયર વિભાગને મળ્યો હતો. જેથી ફાયર વિભાગની ટીમે ત્યાંથી પણ આ જ રીતે પક્ષીનું રેસ્ક્યુ કર્યું હોવાનું જણાવ્યું હતું.

But out of these 42 thousand students, 14 students can be said to be special because these are not regular students or common people but prisoners serving jail term. The district education officer said that 14 prisoners from Kutch will appear for the board exams of class 10 and 12 this year.
