Kutch: 14 inmates of the jail are preparing for the board exam, arranged by the education department!

Dhairya Gajara, Kutch: ThisGujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Board will conduct class 10th and 12th examination from the month of March in which thousands of students from Kutch will participate. So this year the education department has made an arrangement so that students and other people can also give the exam along with the inmates of the jail. 14 inmates of Kutch’s two main jails are making a special effort to give their future a new twist during their imprisonment by appearing and passing the exam.

More than 42 thousand students of Kutch will take the exam in this year’s class 10th and class 12th board exams for all three streams and build their careers. But out of these 42 thousand students, 14 students can be said to be special because these are not regular students or common people but prisoners serving jail term. The district education officer said that 14 prisoners from Kutch will appear for the board exams of class 10 and 12 this year.

In order for the prisoners of Bhuj’s Palara Khas Jail and Gandhidham’s Galpadar Jail to advance their studies this year, the district education officer’s team visited both the jails and registered the inmates who wanted to appear for the examination and also filled their forms. Not only that but special arrangements have been made by the education system so that these inmates can study for the exams and get good marks.

The education department has provided books for the inmates of this jail as per their standards. Also, a special teacher is already sent to teach them for their regular studies.
