Hamirpur Sadar Police Station.
In Hamirpur, Himachal, the team of Sadar Police has arrested 4 youths with chitta from two different places. 9.64 grams of chitta have been recovered from the accused. The police have started investigation by registering a case against the four under the NDPS Act.
According to the information, in the first case, on receiving secret information, the police raided a house near Hamir Hotel. The police had received information that Chitta was being sold here. Police raided the spot and recovered 3.05 grams of chitta from Ashish Gautam alias Shishu son Ramesh Kumar resident Middle Gowda ward number 10 and his friend Akshay Bhatia son Rajiv Bhatia resident of ward number 8.
The police had received information that both of them were doing the work of selling chitta from home. At the same time, in the second case, the police have succeeded in recovering chitta from two youths near Dulehra. Here on the left side of the road, two youths were sitting with the bushes near the bridge. These youths had placed 10 rupees note and lighter and 2 transparent polythene envelopes on foil paper on top of the newspaper in front of them.
On search on the basis of suspicion, the police recovered 6.59 grams of chitta from both the accused. Both the accused named Pankaj Kumar son Suresh Thakur village Dosadka Mauhin district Hamirpur and Ravi Kumar son Kripal Singh resident ward no. 9 Bhota Chowk Hamirpur. SP Hamirpur Aakriti Sharma said that the accused have been arrested in both the cases.
