Karolina Bielawska celebrates her roots and traditions by joining the 85th Pulaski Day Parade

Reigning beauty queen Karolina Bielawska received the esteem opportunity to join the 85th Pulaski Day Parade as the Special Guest along with the Consul General of Poland in NY, Mr. Adrian Kubicki, Permanent Representative of Poland to the United Nations in NY, Mr. Krzysztof Szczerski, and the Grand Marshal Mr. Marcin Luc.

The Polish beauty, who has always been vocal and proud of her country and its rich history and traditions, took to social media to share pictures from the parade expressing her gratitude for the honour. “Every year, thousands of Polish-Americans march along 5th Avenue led by the Grand Marshall of the Parade along with the brigades and bands of The Port Authority Police and the New York Fire Department in a spectacular and colourful display of Polish American unity. The marchers represent schools, youth and sports organisations, businesses, and parish communities from the Tri-State Area. Representatives of the United Nations, The American and Polish Governments and distinguished members of the community all assemble to pay their tribute to Polish heritage and honour General Casimir Pulaski, a true Polish American Hero. We all felt very proud that this special Polish day was supported by The Mayor of New York – Eric Adams.”

Karolina, who has been fulfilling her crown duties and visiting various countries as part of her BWAP project, is delighted to have a piece of home as they all marched together on the streets of New York. “It may have rained on our parade, but it was an unforgettable experience celebrating our roots, history and traditions with the fantastic people of New York🤍❤️” she concluded.
