Earlier, the Supreme Court had directed the HC to hear and decide the NCP leader’s plea expeditiously as it was pending for six months.His lawyers Vikram Chaudhari and Aniket Nikam argued that considering his age (72), health and the fact that he had no criminal antecedents he should be granted bail.

Additional Solicitor General Anil Singh, appearing for the Enforcement Directorate (ED), opposed the application arguing that Deshmukh did not suffer from any ailments that cannot be treated at jail hospital.Arrested by the ED in November 2021, Deshmukh is now in judicial custody.

The ED booked him after the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) registered a corruption case against him following allegations made by former Mumbai Police commissioner Param Bir Singh.The ED claimed that Deshmukh misused his official position and collected Rs 4.7 crore from various bars and restaurants in Mumbai.

The ill-gotten money was channelled to Nagpur-based Shri Sai Shikshan Sansthan, an educational trust controlled by his family, it alleged.

William began to have concerns about the Sussexes’ happiness in the royal family when Harry and Meghan Markle gave an interview to ITV during their 2019 tour of South Africa, realizing the family might be “in crisis.”

One of the earliest public examples of Harry and Meghan’s challenges as royals was their interview with ITV for their documentary “Harry & Meghan: An African Journey.” In the royal limelight, Meghan spoke candidly about her hardships as a mother and newlywed. ITV’s Tom Bradby even confronted Harry about his feud with his brother, which he did not deny.

“We are certainly on different paths at the moment, but I will always be there for him, as I know he will always be there for me,” Prince Harry said in the documentary.

When Prince William and Kate were touring Pakistan, the interview dominated press coverage, and it unavoidably overshadowed their visit.

In the book, according to The Post, William allegedly arranged a meeting with Harry, who initially agreed in the hopes of making atonement after he and Markle levelled multiple allegations against the royal family.

According to the book, the Duke of Sussex changed his mind shortly after agreeing and refused the offer. When Harry asked William who he would inform about the meeting, William responded that the Prince’s private secretary would need to be informed in order to put it on his calendar.

The book claims that Harry preferred they not go rather than run the risk of the visit being reported in the media because he was worried William’s team would tell the press about it.

According to New York Post, five months before Harry and Meghan left the royal family and moved to Canada, Prince William made the effort to mend fences with his brother.

કેન્દ્રીય ગૃહ પ્રધાન અમિત શાહ (Home Minister Amit Shah) આજે મંગળવારે કટરામાં માતા વૈષ્ણો દેવીના (Mata Vaishno Devi) દરબારમાં પહોંચીને પૂજા અર્ચના કરી હતી. જમ્મુ-કાશ્મીરના લેફ્ટનન્ટ ગવર્નર મનોજ સિંહા અને અન્ય વહીવટી અધિકારીઓ પણ તેમની સાથે હાજર રહ્યાં હતા. ગૃહમંત્રી અમિત શાહે પવિત્ર ગુફામાં માતા વૈષ્ણોદેવીની પૂજા અર્ચના કરી અને મા ભગવતીને શાંતિ અને સમૃદ્ધિ માટે પ્રાર્થના કરી. માતાના આશીર્વાદ લીધા બાદ ગૃહમંત્રી માતા વૈષ્ણોદેવી શ્રાઈન બોર્ડના અધિકારીઓ, કર્મચારીઓ અને ભક્તોને પણ મળ્યા હતા. અમિત શાહ આજે રાજોરીમાં જનસભાને સંબોધશે. દૂર દૂરથી લોકો રાજોરીમાં જાહેર સભા સ્થળે પહોંચવા લાગ્યા છે.

ટ્રાફિક એડવાઈઝરી જાહેર

કેન્દ્રીય ગૃહમંત્રી અમિત શાહની મુલાકાતને લઈને અધિકારીઓએ, વાહનવ્યવહાર માટે ટ્રાફિક એડવાઈઝરી જાહેર કરી છે. ટ્રાફિક પોલીસ દ્વારા જાહેર કરાયેલ એડવાઈઝરી અનુસાર, પૂંચ, સુરનકોટ, મેંધર અને માંજાકોટ માર્ગો પર આવતા વાહનોને સભા સ્થળના ગ્રાઉન્ડ પર મોકલવામાં આવશે. ખાનગી વાહનોને પાર્કિગ માટે નક્કી કરાયેલા મેદાનમાં પાર્ક કરવામાં આવશે.

વિકાસલક્ષી યોજનાઓની કરાશે જાહેરાત

સૂત્રોના જણાવ્યા અનુસાર કેન્દ્રીય ગૃહમંત્રી અમિત શાહ રાજોરીની રેલીમાં જમ્મુ ડિવિઝન માટે 1900 કરોડ રૂપિયાના 167 વિકાસ કાર્યોનો શિલાન્યાસ કરશે. અનેક પ્રોજેક્ટ લોન્ચ કરવાની જાહેરાત કરશે. જેમાં તેઓ એક હજાર સહકારી મંડળીઓની રચનાની જાહેરાત કરશે.

નાગરિક સુવિધા ઓનલાઈન કરશે

જમ્મુ અને કાશ્મીર માટે ડિજિટલ J&K લોગો અને ટેગલાઇનના લોન્ચ સાથે, 250 ઇન્ફર્મેશન ટેક્નોલોજીના નાગરિકો ઓનલાઇન સુવિધાઓ બનાવશે. 920 કિલોમીટરના 128 રોડ પ્રોજેક્ટનો શિલાન્યાસ કરશે જેના પર 1111.96 કરોડ રૂપિયાનો ખર્ચ થશે.

તેઓ રાજોરીના લંબડી ખાતે 100 બેડની હોસ્પિટલ અને જલ જીવન મિશન હેઠળ 41 પીવાના પાણી પુરવઠા યોજનાનો શિલાન્યાસ કરશે. અમિત શાહ ગઈકાલ સોમવાર સાંજે 7.30 કલાકે જમ્મુ એરપોર્ટ પહોંચ્યા હતા. જ્યાં ઉપરાજ્યપાલ મનોજ સિન્હા અને બીજેપીના અન્ય નેતાઓએ તેમનું સ્વાગત કર્યું હતું. ત્યાંથી તેઓ સીધા રાજભવન ગયા જ્યાં તેઓ વિવિધ પ્રતિનિધિમંડળોને મળ્યા.

Rapper, Drafted, Dies By Suicide, Calls Putin "Maniac"

A 27-year-old Russian rapper has died by suicide in order to avoid being conscripted into the war that his country is fighting against Ukraine, media reported.

His name was among those drafted to fight against Ukraine and according to New York Post, he committed suicide after declaring that he was “not ready to kill for any ideals.”

New York Post translated the news published in a Russian news portal that reported that the rapper, identified as Ivan Vitalievich Petunin, was found dead on Friday after he jumped from a high-rise building in Krasnodar.

Ivan used to perform under the stage name ‘Walkie’.

The rapper’s death was later confirmed by his girlfriend and mother, according to The Post. He committed suicide by jumping off from the 10th floor of the building.

New York Post then quoted a local media report that suggested that the rapper recorded a heart-wrenching video message on Telegram before taking his life.

In a 2-minutes-16 seconds long video shared by TMZ, the rapper is heard speaking in Russian “If you are watching this video, then I am no longer alive.” The sentences were translated by TMZ.

“I can’t take the sin of murder on my soul and I don’t want to. I am not ready to kill for any ideals. To murder someone in war or otherwise is something I cannot do,” the rapper said.

He later called Putin a “maniac” and said, “It seems to me that partial mobilization will become full in a few days.”

“Forgive me, my loved ones, but sometimes you have to die for your principles,” he concluded.

Walkie had roughly 40,000 monthly Spotify listeners, and his song which “Neirotokcin,” translates to “Neurotoxin,” received nearly 2 million streams. According to his Bandcamp page, the recording artist has been producing songs since 2013.

According to New York Post, Petunin had previously served in the army and had been treated in a mental hospital, according to reports. Petunin said in a letter to his girlfriend that the sham “referendums” held by Russia last week resulted in annexing four regions of Ukraine – “everyone will go to the front lines.”

He continued, “People with psychosocial ailments even worse than mine are already being sent there without any hesitation.”

According to New York Post, Many Russian men fled the warring country in droves or broke their own arms to avoid being recruited into military combat in the aftermath of Putin’s Sept. 21 address, which called for 300,000 reservists to be dispatched to battle.

Since the announcement, around 2 lakh Russians have fled to neighbouring Georgia, Kazakhstan, and Finland, incurring 10-year prison sentences if apprehended.

The Kremlin built up makeshift draught offices near border checkpoints to catch draught evaders.

Amit Shah Offers Prayers At Vaishno Devi Temple In Jammu

Jammu:

Union Home Minister Amit Shah offered prayers at the Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine in Katra on Tuesday morning.

The Home Minister reached the Katra shrine via the Sanjhichatt Helipad. He was accompanied by Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha and Union Minister Jitendra Singh.

This is Mr Shah’s first visit to the holy cave shrine after being appointed as the Union Home Minister.

His visit coincides with the ninth day of the ongoing Navratri festival.

Mr Shah is scheduled to later address a public meeting at Rajouri, which is around one-and-half hours away from the Vaishno Devi temple.

The Minister will further launch development projects and also lay foundation stones for various projects at Convention Centre in Jammu.

Mr Shah will then hold a public meeting in Rajouri and offer prayers at the Raghunath Temple in Jammu.

He will also inspect various developmental projects here before heading to the Kashmir valley.

Later in the evening, the Home Minister will hold a number of crucial meetings including the ones regarding the security situation in the region.

On Wednesday (October 5), Mr Shah will review the security situation in Jammu and Kashmir at a meeting that is slated to be held at Raj Bhavan in Srinagar.

LG Manoj Sinha, top officials of the Army, paramilitary forces, state police and civil administration will take part in this high-level meeting expected to begin at 10 am tomorrow.

The Minister will later address a public meeting here at Baramulla around 11.30 am and will address the gathering.

Before concluding his visit to the Union Territory, Mr Shah will also launch and lay foundation stones for various development projects in Srinagar around 3.30 pm.

Various programmes have been scheduled to take place during his visit to the valley including the ones which will be held by communities like Bakarwal and Gujjars to honour Mr Shah on behalf of the Modi government for working for the welfare of these communities.

In a surprising move, the Modi government recently nominated Ghulam Ali to the Rajya Sabha. Ali joined BJP in 2008 and hails from the Gujjar tribe.

Several organisational meetings are on the cards too including the state core group meeting and meeting with party MPs and MLAs.

This is the second visit by Amit Shah to Jammu and Kashmir since the abrogation of Article 370 by the Modi government in August 2019.

Meanwhile, Mr Shah on Monday met people from different communities including Gujjar-Bakarwal, Rajput, Pahari and Jammu Sikh Community.

અમદાવાદના (Ahmedabad) મેઘાણીનગર વિસ્તારમાં દુકાનનું પોસ્ટર ફાડવા જેવી નજીવી બાબતે થયેલ ઝઘડો હત્યામાં પરિણમ્યો છે. પોસ્ટર ફાડવા મામલે એક યુવકની હત્યા થઈ છે. સમગ્ર મામલે પોલીસે (Ahmedabad police) હત્યા કરનાર આરોપી મહેન્દ્રકુમાર ઉર્ફે માઈકલ શર્મા, અચલ કુમાર અને મંકુ શર્માની ધરપકડ કરી છે.

પોલીસે ત્રણ આરોપીની કરી ધરપકડ

ઘટના કંઈક એવી છે કે નવરાત્રીના (Navratri 2022) ગરબા જોવા માટે વિશાલ ગુપ્તા અને તેના બે મિત્રો અનિકેત દિવાકર અને રિતેશ શાહ ભાર્ગવ રોડ પરથી પસાર થઈ રહ્યા હતા ત્યારે આ ત્રણેય આરોપીઓ તેમની નજીક આવ્યા અને દુકાનમાં લગાવેલું પ્લાસ્ટિકનું પોસ્ટર ફાડવા બાબતે ઝઘડો કરીને ત્રણેય મિત્રોને મારવા લાગ્યા હતા. ત્યાર બાદ પેટના કમરના ભાગેથી ખંજર કાઢીને અનિકેતને મારવા જતા વિશાલ ગુપ્તા છોડવા વચ્ચે પડયો હતો, જેથી આરોપીઓએ વિશાલ ગુપ્તા પર છરીથી હુમલો કર્યો જેમાં વિશાલનું સારવાર દરમિયાન મોત નિપજ્યું છે.

હત્યાને પગલે આસપાસના વિસ્તારમાં અરેરાટી

આ હત્યા કેસની તપાસમાં સામે આવ્યું કે આરોપી માઈકલ શર્માની પત્ની બ્યુટી પાર્લર આવેલુ છે. આ શોપ પર પ્લાસ્ટિકનું પોસ્ટર લગાવ્યું હતું આ પોસ્ટર કોઈએ ફાડી નાખતા આરોપીઓને શંકા હતી કે પોસ્ટર વિશાલ ગુપ્તા અને તેના મિત્રોએ ફાડ્યું છે જેથી સામાન્ય બાબતે ઝઘડો કરી આરોપીઓએ વિશાલ ગુપ્તાની હત્યા કરી હતી. હાલમાં મેઘાણીનગર પોલીસે આ ત્રણેય આરોપીઓની ધરપકડ કરી વધુ પૂછપરછ હાથ ધરી છે. મેઘાણીનગર વિસ્તારમાં નવરાત્રીના પર્વમાં ખૂની ખેલ ખેલાતા સમગ્ર વિસ્તારમાં અરેરાટી વ્યાપી છે. તમને જણાવી દઈએ કે, મેઘાણીનગર પોલીસે હત્યા કરનાર આરોપીની ધરપકડ બાદ તેઓના ગુનાઈ ઇતિહાસને લઈને પણ તપાસ શરૂ કરી છે.

જમ્મુ-કાશ્મીરમાં (Jammu Kashmir) પોલીસ મહાનિર્દેશક (જેલ) હેમંત કુમાર લોહિયાની (Hemant Kumar Lohia) હત્યાથી ખળભળાટ મચી ગયો છે. સોમવારે રાત્રે તેની ઘાતકી હત્યા કરવામાં આવી હતી. આ ઘટના પાછળ તેમના જ નોકરનો હાથ હોવાનું કહેવાય છે. કારણ કે આ ઘટના બાદથી તે ફરાર છે અને તેના વિશે ક્યાંય પણ કંઈ જાણવા મળતું નથી. જમ્મુમાં મોડી રાત્રે આ ઘટના સામે આવતા પોલીસ વિભાગમાં ખળભળાટ મચી ગયો છે. હેમંત કુમાર લોહિયાનો મૃતદેહ ઘરમાંથી શંકાસ્પદ હાલતમાં મળી આવ્યો હતો.

મળતી માહિતી મુજબ ડીજીપીના ( DGP Jails) શરીરમાંથી આંતરડા બહાર નીકળેલા મળી આવ્યા હતા. હત્યારાએ સોસની કાચની બોટલ વડે તેના પેટ અને હાથ પર અનેક ઘા કર્યા હતા. તેણે કાચની બોટલ વડે લોહીયાનું ગળું પણ ચીરી નાખ્યું હતું. તેમજ કેરોસીન છાંટીને શરીરને સળગાવવાનો પ્રયાસ કર્યો હતો. ડીજીપીને માથા પર ગાદલા અને કપડા મુકીને આગ લગાડવાના પ્રયાસો પણ કરવામાં આવ્યો હતો. લોહિયાના મોતની ઘટનાની પ્રારંભિક તપાસમાં એ વાત સામે આવી છે કે રામબનમાં રહેતો તેનો નોકર યાસિર અહેમદે આ સમગ્ર ઘટનાનું ષડયંત્ર રચ્યું હતું.

આવી રીતે ઘટનાને આપ્યો અંજામ

ડીજીપી લોહિયા નવરાત્રીના સંબંધમાં શ્રીનગરથી જમ્મુ આવ્યા હતા. તેમના ઘરે રિપેરિંગનું કામ ચાલી રહ્યું હતું. જેના કારણે તેમનો આખો પરિવાર રાજીવ ખજુરિયાના ઘરે રોકાયો હતો. રાત્રે આખો પરિવાર જમતો હતો. આ દરમિયાન હેમંત કુમાર અને તેનો નોકર યાસિર ગ્રાઉન્ડ ફ્લોર પર એક બેડરૂમમાં ગયા હતા. હેમંત ઘણીવાર રાત્રે ડીજીપી લોહિયાના પગમાં તેલ લગાવતો હતો. ડીજીપી લોહિયાના પગમાં તેલ લગાવવા યાસિર લોહીયાના બેડરૂમમાં ગયો હતો. યાસિરે પહેલા બેડરૂમનો દરવાજો બંધ કર્યો અને પછી હત્યાની ઘટનાને અંજામ આપ્યો. લોહિયાની હત્યા કર્યા બાદ યાસિર બેડરૂમના બીજા દરવાજેથી ભાગી ગયો હતો.

પોલીસે યાસિરના પોસ્ટર લગાવ્યા

સ્થળ પરથી મળી આવેલા કેટલાક સીસીટીવી ફૂટેજમાં શંકાસ્પદ આરોપી ડીજીપીની હત્યા કર્યા બાદ ભાગતો જોઈ શકાય છે. આરોપી યાસિર લગભગ 6 મહિનાથી લોહિયાના ઘરમાં નોકર તરીકે કામ કરતો હતો. એવું કહેવામાં આવી રહ્યું છે કે તેનું વર્તન ખૂબ જ આક્રમક હતું. પોલીસે આરોપીની તસવીર સાથે પોસ્ટર લગાવ્યા છે અને કેટલાક નંબર શેર કર્યા છે. જેના દ્વારા લોકો યાસિરની હાજરી સાથે જોડાયેલી માહિતી આપી શકે છે. પોલીસે તે હથિયાર પણ કબજે કર્યું છે. જેના દ્વારા આ ઘટનાને અંજામ આપવામાં આવ્યો હતો. પ્રાથમિક તપાસમાં આ ઘટના સાથે આતંકવાદી જોડાણ હોવાના હાલ કોઈ પુરાવા નથી. જો કે હજુ પણ આ દિશામાં ઝીણવટભરી તપાસ ચાલી રહી છે.

Popular Malayalam actress Mythili and her husband Sambath Kumar announced pregnancy during Onam this year. Mythili has now shared glimpses from her maternity photoshoot. The actress is seen decked up in a pastel kaftan dress and the mother-to-be is glowing as she flaunts her baby bump.

Sharing the pictures, Mythili also penned an adorable note that reads, “My precious little baby I have loved you from the start. You are my tiny miracle laying closely to my heart. Each day I feel your presence. Each day you quickly grow. Each day your heart beats softly. As only I can know. So I will keep this in a special place, and remember each year through. Of this very special time of life I carried you.”

It was during Onam last month (Sep 8), Mythili and her husband announced that they are pregnant. “Happy Onam and am sharing with you all a happy news that am promoted to motherhood,” Mythili penned, sharing the picture of her baby bump.

Mythili married Sambath Kumar, an interior designer in April this year (2022). The couple tied the knot in an intimate wedding held at Guruvayoor, Thrissur. “Thank you all for making my wedding day really special. Thankfully everything went well the way we wanted it to. A big shout out to everyone who supported me through my life and I hope I receive this love and blessings from you wherever I am in my life!” Mythili said in a note posted on her wedding day.

તાજેતરમાં Apple CEO ટિમ કૂક ઈટાલીની એક યુનિવર્સિટીના પ્રારંભ સમારોહમાં ગયા હતા. ત્યાં તેણે દુનિયાભરના લાખો લોકોને પોતાની ડ્રીમ કંપની એપલમાં નોકરી મેળવવા માટે ચાવી આપી. તેણે શું કહ્યું જાણો છો?

Appleમાં નોકરી માટે 3C, 1E જરૂરી

1. ટિમ કુકે સ્નાતક થયેલા વિદ્યાર્થીઓને કહ્યું કે, તે માને છે કે કંપનીની સફળતા બે બાબતો પર નિર્ભર છે. પ્રથમ વસ્તુ – તે કંપનીની સંસ્કૃતિ શું છે? બીજી વાત- કંપની કોને હાયર કરે છે? આ દરમિયાન ટિમ કુકે જણાવ્યું કે, Apple તેના કર્મચારીઓમાં ચાર કૌશલ્યોને શોધે છે – 3C અને એક 1E.
2. અહીં 3Cનો અર્થ છે – Collaborate, Creativity અને Curiosity. જ્યારે Eનો અર્થ છે – Expertise. તેમણે કહ્યું કે, એપલ તેના ઉત્પાદનો દરેકના સંયુક્ત પ્રયાસોથી તૈયાર કરે છે. આ માટે સહકાર અને સાથે કામ કરવાની ક્ષમતા ખૂબ જ મહત્વપૂર્ણ છે.
3. તેણે કહ્યું કે, એપલ એવા લોકોને શોધે છે જે અલગ રીતે વિચારે છે. જેઓ સામે સમસ્યા જુએ અને એ નથી વિચારતા કે અત્યાર સુધી તેનો ઉકેલ કેવી રીતે લાવવો. એક અલગ રસ્તો શોધવાનો પ્રયાસ કરે. એક અલગ અભિગમ રાખે.
4. જિજ્ઞાસા અંગે કૂકે કહ્યું કે, તે Cliche છે, પરંતુ કોઈ પ્રશ્ન મૂર્ખતા ભરેલો નથી હોતો. જો કોઈ બાળકની જેમ પ્રશ્નો પૂછે તો તે સારી વાત છે.
5. દેખીતી રીતે એપલ એક એવી કંપની છે. જ્યાં દરેક વ્યક્તિ કામ કરવાનું સપનું જુએ છે. લાખો લોકો આ માટે પ્રયાસ પણ કરે છે. અત્યારે એપલમાં 1.50 લાખથી વધુ લોકો કામ કરે છે. જો કે, ભૂતકાળમાં અન્ય IT કંપનીઓની જેમ, Appleએ પણ Hiringમાં ઘટાડો કર્યો છે. કેટલાકે તેમની નોકરી ગુમાવી છે.

New photographs of Duke and Duchess of Sussex Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were released on Monday. The photos are from their UK visit and have been captured by world-renowned photographer Misan Harriman at the One Young World summit in Manchester. The photos were taken three days before Queen Elizabeth II’s death.

The first portrait shows Meghan Markle directly looking at the camera as she holds onto one of Prince Harry’s fingers – who is standing behind her, smiling.

“The Duke and Duchess of Sussex moments before attending the opening ceremony of @OneYoungWorld last month,” Misan Harriman captioned the Instagram image.

The photos were released just two days after Buckingham Palace unveiled a new official Royal family portrait of King Charles III, Camilla Queen Consort and the Prince William and Princess of Wales Kate Middleton.

The photos come amid reports of increasing tensions between King Charles III and the couple over their children Archie and Lilibet’s royal titles.

Diary Of Man Who Killed Top Cop Reveals Depressed Mind, Say Police Sources

Police released this photo of Yasir Ahmed, accused of killing DGP Hemant Lohia in Jammu.

Jammu:

The personal diary of the man who allegedly murdered a top police officer in Jammu reveals a depressed mind fixated on death, police sources have said. “Dear death, come into my life,” says a note. “I’m sorry I am having bad day, week, month, year, life,” says another.

Yasir Ahmed, 36, was a domestic worker for Hemant Lohia, 57, director general of prisons in Jammu and Kashmir, whom he’s accused of having killed Monday night. A search is now on. Police have so far found no terror link.

A diary that police say belongs to him carries songs in Hindi, one of which is titled, “Bhula dena mujhe” (‘Forget me’). Other pages are filled with short sentences and notes — “I hate my life”, “Life is just grief…” — and one has a chart that starts with a drawing of a phone battery labelled “My Life 1%”. 

“Love 0%, Tension 90%, Sad 99%, Fake Smile 100%,” it reads further.

Another note titled ‘Life’ — exact date of writing not known — reads: “Mai jasi life je raha hoon, mujhe us sa koi problem nahi hai… Problem is baat se hai, aagay hamara kaya hoga (‘I have no problem with the life I’m leading; the problem is with what might happen in the future’).”  

Police investigation so far says Yasir Ahmed, a native of Ramban, was working at the officer’s home since six months. “He was quite aggressive in his behaviour and was also under depression,” said a police official privy to the probe.

“No terror act is apparent in the initial inquiry; but a thorough probe is on to rule out possibilities,” a source said.

Police released his photographs and urged the public to share information.

The murder came at a time when Union Home Minister Amit Shah is visiting the union territory.

Hemant Lohia, an Indian Police Service (IPS) officer of the 1992 batch, got his latest posting just two months ago. He was staying with his family at a friend’s house while an official house for him was being furnished.
