Ahmedabad: બોપલમાં બેફામ ડમ્પર ચાલકે બાઈકચાલકને અડફેટે લીધો હતો. બાઈકચાલક દંપતીને ઈજા થતા તેમને સારવાર માટે ખસેડવામાં આવ્યા છે તો બીજી તરફ ડમ્પર ચાલક અકસ્માત સર્જી ફરાર થઈ ગયો હતો.

અમદાવાદ (Ahmedabad)ના બોપલ વિસ્તારમાં બેફામ બનેલા ડમ્પરચાલકે બાઈકચાલકને અડફેટે લીધો હતો. સદનસીબે આ અકસ્માતમાં બાઈકચાલકનો બચાવ થયો છે. બાઈકચાલકને ગંભીર ઈજા થતા હાલ હોસ્પિટલમાં સારવાર હેઠળ છે. ઘટના VIP રોડની છે. જ્યાં વહેલી સવારે VIP રોડ પરથી એક કાર અને તેની પાછળ બાઈકચાલક પસાર થઈ રહ્યો હતો. આ દરમિયાન ચાર રસ્તા પર બાઈકચાલકની ડાબી બાજુએથી ફુલ સ્પીડમાં ડમ્પર (Dumper) ધસી આવ્યું હતું. જેની અડફેટે બાઈક (Bike) સાથે ચાલક હવામાં ફંગોળાયો હતો. બીજી તરફ ડમ્પરચાલકે કોઈપણ પ્રકારની દરકાર લીધા વિના ડમ્પર હાંકી માર્યું હતું. આગળ રેતીના ઢગલો આવી જતાં ડમ્પરને ત્યાં જ મૂકીને ડમ્પરચાલક અને તેનો સાથી ફરાર થઈ ગયા હતા. ઘટના બાદ લોકોનું ટોળું ત્યાં ધસી આવ્યું હતું અને ડ્રાઈવરને શોધવાનો પ્રયાસ કર્યો હતો. જોકે લોકો આવે તે પહેલા જ ડમ્પરચાલક ફરાર થઈ ગયો હતો.

સમગ્ર ઘટનાના સીસીટીવી આવ્યા સામે

આ સમગ્ર ઘટનાના સીસીટીવી સામે આવ્યા છે. સીસીટીવીને આધારે પોલીસે તપાસ હાથ ધરી છે. સીસીટીવીમાં સ્પષ્ટ દેખાઈ રહ્યુ છે કઈ રીતે ડમ્પર ચાલક બેફામ રીતે ધસી આવ્યો હતો. ડમ્પરમાં બ્રેક ફેલ હોવાની પણ ખબરો સામે આવી છે. આ ઘટના બનતાની સાથે જ ડમ્પર ચાલક અને તેની સાથે ડમ્પરમાં સવાર અન્ય શખ્સ સહિત બંને ફરાર થઈ ગયા છે. આ ઘટના બોપલ વિસ્તારમાંથી સામે આવી છે. પોલીસે સીસીટીવીને આધારે ડમ્પર ચાલકને શોધવા માટે ચક્રો ગતિમાન કર્યા છે.

Kumaraswamy Airdashes to Telangana to Join Forces with TRS Chief K Chandrashekar Rao

KCR had called on former Prime Minister and JD(S) supremo H D Deve Gowda and his son Kumaraswamy in May this year in Bengaluru and had a discussion on this issue with them

Senior JD(S) leader H D Kumaraswamy along with 20 of his party MLAs left for Hyderabad on Tuesday to back Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao, who is expected to announce the Telangana Rashtra Samiti’s foray into national politics on October 5.

The TRS is likely to be renamed as Bharata Rashtra Samiti’ (BRS), the ruling party sources said in Hyderabad. Kumaraswamy, the JD(S) second-in-command, and the MLAs left for Hyderabad by a special plane on Tuesday.

Rao, the TRS President, had called on former Prime Minister and JD(S) supremo H D Deve Gowda and his son Kumaraswamy in May this year in Bengaluru and had a discussion on this issue with them.

Kumaraswamy too had visited Hyderabad recently and had an interaction. According to a JD(S) insider, the BRS will be a conglomeration of various regional parties, which are fighting against the BJP in their respective states. The idea is to put up a united fight against the BJP.

Basically, it’s a combination of various regional parties who want to rise above their political differences and come together, the JD(S) leader said. He alleged that various regional parties are being “harassed” by the BJP using central agencies such as the Central Bureau of Investigation, Income Tax and the Enforcement Directorate.

રાજકોટમાં વધુ એક વિદ્યાર્થીને ઢોર માર માર્યો હોવાની ઘટના સામે આવી છે. શહેરના ટાગોર રોડ પર હેમુગઢવી હોલ સામે આવેલી પી&બી સ્કૂલમાં વિદ્યાર્થીએ હોમવર્ક પૂરતું કર્યું ન હોવાથી કોમ્પ્યુટર વિષયના વિદ્યાર્થીને માર માર્યો હતો. જો કે શાળા દ્વારા તાત્કાલિક અસરથી આ શિક્ષકને સસ્પેન્ડ કરવા નિર્ણય કરવામાં આવ્યો હતો.

રાજકોટના ટાગોર રોડ પર આવેલ હેમુગઢવી હોલ સામે આવેલી પી & બી સ્કૂલમાં આજે સવારે 8.30 વાગ્યે કોમ્પ્યુટર વિષયના શિક્ષક એશાન દતા એ વિદ્યાર્થીઓના હોમવર્ક ચેક કરવાનું શરૂ કર્યું હતું જે પૈકી ચાર જેટલા વિદ્યાર્થીઓએ અધૂરું હોમવર્ક કર્યું હોવાથી માર માર્યો હતો અને આ પૈકી એક વિદ્યાર્થીને વધુ માર માર્યો હતો. વિદ્યાર્થીનું કહેવું છે કે શિક્ષકે તેને પાંચ થી છ લાફા માર્યા હતા અને વાંસામાં પણ ધબ્બો માર્યો હતો જેથી ગાલમાં ચાંભા પણ પડી ગયા છે.

બીજા લોકોના ઘરકામ કરી ચોકીદારી કરી પરિવારનું ગુજરાન ચલાવતા આ રાવલ પરિવારના દીકરાને શિક્ષકે માર માર્યાની ખબર પડતા તેઓ શાળાએ દોડી ગયા હતા અને શિક્ષક સાથે ઝપાઝપી પણ કરી હતી. મજૂરી કામ કરી બાળકને ભણવા મોકલીએ છીએ માર ખાવા નહિ તેવો આક્રોશ બાળકની માતા એ વ્યક્ત કર્યો હતો. જયારે શાળાના પ્રિન્સિપાલે શિક્ષકને તાત્કાલિક સસ્પેન્ડ કરવા નિર્ણય કર્યો હતો અને ઘટનાને વખોડી કાઢી હતી.

Kumari Puja is one of the most important rituals of Durga Puja festivities. Celebrated on Maha Navami, devotees during Kumari Puajn worship nine young girls as nine avatars (incarnations) of Goddess Durga

The auspicious Maha Navami, the ninth day of Navratri festivities was celebrated with religious fervour in Odisha on Tuesday. On the occasion, the state’s unique tradition of worshipping little girls was witnessed at many Durga puja mandaps.

Kumari Puja is one of the most important rituals of Durga Puja festivities. Celebrated on Maha Navami, devotees worship nine young girls as nine avatars (incarnations) of Goddess Durga during Kumari Puja.

Explaining the significance of the occasion, Dayanidhi Satpathy, a local priest said, “young girls are considered to be the purest and most vulnerable creations of God. They are worshipped for the innocence and purity they bring to the family. These girls are called ‘kanyas’ and are considered to be very auspicious.”

Durga Puja celebrations are back in Odisha in their full fervour after a gap of two years of restrictions. Kumari Puja is considered a very important ritual during the festivities.

The ritual starts from washing the feet of the girls to feeding them special dishes. The member of the family who performs the ritual seeks blessings from the girls.

“It is very auspicious to worship nine young girls during the Mahanavami. It is believed that young girls are incarnations of Maa Durga. We are happy for offering Puja to Kanyas at Puja Mandap,” said a devotee who performed the ritual.

According to the village sarpanch, on October 2, the birth anniversary of the Father of the Nation, the entire village gathers at the statue of Mahatma Gandhi and pays rich tributes with flowers and broken coconuts

People of a village in Telangana have been worshipping Mahatma Gandhi as their family god for more than six decades and performing pujas regularly to the statue of the father of the nation which was installed in the heart of the village.

Narsingpur is one of the villages which came under the Nizamabad district rural constituency in Telangana state. In 1961, when the villagers performed ground-breaking ceremony to install the statue of the father of the nation at the heart of the village, one of the families in the village was blessed with a baby boy and the villagers considered it a very auspicious thing to the entire village.

Village sarpanch Nallavelli Narsaiah has said the people in the village had decided that they will not organise any celebrations without worshipping the statue of Mahatma Gandhi. Before this, they used to worship the presiding deity at Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Temple in the village. Later, in a procession amid drum beats, they reached Mahatma Gandhi’s statue and perform a milk bath on the statue. Then respecting the father of the nation as their family god, they break coconuts in front of the statue and offered the same to Mahatma Gandhi.

According to the village sarpanch, on October 2, the birth anniversary of the Father of the Nation, the entire village gathers at the statue of Mahatma Gandhi and pays rich tributes with flowers and broken coconuts.

ભારતના વિકેટ કીપર બેટ્સમેન ઋષભ પંત મંગળવારે પોતાનો 25મો જન્મદિવસ ઉજવી રહ્યો છે. તે પોતાના જન્મદિવસે મેદાનમાં ઉતર્યો હતો. પંતને તેના જન્મદિવસ પર ભલે મેચ રમવાની હોય, પરંતુ ચાહકોએ આ દિવસને તેના માટે ખાસ બનાવવા માટે કોઈ કસર છોડી નથી. મેચની ત્રીજી ઓવર ચાલી રહી હતી. દીપક ચહર બોલિંગ કરી રહ્યો હતો અને દક્ષિણ આફ્રિકાનો કેપ્ટન ટેમ્બા બાવુમા ઓવરના પાંચમા બોલનો સામનો કરવા માટે સ્ટ્રાઈક પર હતો. ત્યારપછી આખા સ્ટેડિયમમાં હેપ્પી બર્થ ડે ગીત ગુંજવા લાગ્યું. મેદાન પર હાજર ચાહકોએ સાથે મળીને ગીત ગાઈને પોતાના ફેવરિટ સ્ટારને અભિનંદન પાઠવ્યા હતા. સ્ટેડિયમનો અવાજ સાંભળીને કેપ્ટન ટેમ્બા બાવુમા પણ આશ્ચર્યથી જોવા લાગ્યા.

Dussehra marks the end of navratri celebrations. The nine day long Hindu festival of worshiping the feminine energy Shakti comes to an end with Dussehra. This year, Dussehra will be celebrated in India on October 5.

Also known as Vijaya Dashami, this day signifies the victory of good over evil.

On this day Maa Durga had killed demon king Mahisasura and saved the earth from his atrocities.

According to Ramayana, when demon king Ravana abducted Sita Mata and kept her hostage in Ashoka Vatika, Lord Rama fought against the demon to get his wife back. Ravana has ten heads, hence killing one who has ten heads was called Dussehra.

Families and friends get together to celebrate this rich tradition. Kids are told the story of power and valor and elders narrate several anecdotes to kids.

Adding more to its significance, Dussehra falls on the 10th day of the month of Ashvina (September–October), the seventh month of the Hindu calendar, with the appearance of the full moon, an event called the “bright fortnight” (shukla paksha).

Throughout India, Dussehra is celebrated with fun and fervor. In north India Ram Lila is held to commemorate the victory of Lord Rama. Ram Lila is a theatrical enactment of Ramayana.

People working outside, come to their family members to celebrate Durga Puja. On this day people visit their relatives and spend time. Friends also get together.

Delhi Vehicle Owners Without Pollution Certificate May Face Suspension Of RC

There are over 900 pollution checking centres authorised by the transport department in Delhi.

New Delhi:

Vehicle owners not having valid Pollution Under Control Certificate (PUCC) for their vehicles may face suspension of registration certificate, officials said on Tuesday.

The Delhi Transport Department is issuing notices to owners whose vehicles do not have a valid PUCC, warning that if they do not get the certificate within a week, their registration certificates may be suspended.

“There are around 19 lakh vehicles that do not have a valid PUCC, but there is no technology to know whether such vehicles are coming on the roads. So, the enforcement teams have been formed to carry out checks, while SMSes are also being sent to vehicle owners warning them that their registration certificates may be suspended if they do not get a valid PUCC within a week,” said a top transport department official.

Vehicles are periodically tested for their emission standards for various pollutants such as carbon monoxide (CO) and carbon dioxide (CO2) after which they are given PUC certificates.

There are over 900 pollution checking centres authorised by the transport department in Delhi. These are set up at petrol pumps and workshops spread all over the city, so motorists can get it done easily.

The fee for pollution checking in case of petrol and CNG-driven two and three-wheelers is Rs 60. It is Rs 80 for four-wheelers (petrol) and Rs 100 for diesel-run four-wheelers.
